Novira Therapeutics raised $2.5 million in a second round of seed financing Tuesday.
The Radnor, Pa., biopharmaceutical company is developing treatments for viral diseases including hepatitis B and HIV.
The financing was led by three Philadelphia angel groups: Delaware Crossing Investor Group Delaware Crossing Investor Group Latest from The Business Journals Kenexa CEO Karsan co-writes New York Times best sellerTicketLeap bounds ahead with fundsAngels bless enviro-friendly packager Follow this company , the Mid-Atlantic Angel Group Fund II and Robin Hood Ventures.
BioAdvance, Novira’s initial investor after the company was launched in 2009, also participated in the round.
